Hosting
Once you have a domain name and a website (or a website in development) it's time to post it up on the internet. This is done by getting the site hosted on a server. We do this more cheaply than individuals can do it because we buy bulk space on a server in a data-centre not far from our own base.
Maintenance
Once it's up we then maintain the site. The maintenance need comes from these initiatives:
- Your initiative: For example, your prices change, you have new photos, you want to put up a page about your holiday home etc. You e-mail us and we effect the changes. We can respond quickly as we have direct access.
- Our initiative: We keep an eye on your site's search engine ranking and we'll make minor changes to the text, add links etc in order to get your site found more easily. You probably won't notice these changes but we will consult with you before making any major change.
Hosting and maintenance (as all our services) are included in the first year fee and also the subsequent £95 per annum membership fee. (There are no hidden costs.)
