Do I own my website?
Yes you have full ownership of your website, and you are free to take it away and put it on another server, if you so desire.
Do I own my domain name?
It's registered in your own name and belongs to you as part of your subscription to our scheme.
How much does my domain name cost me?
If it has a .uk suffix it's part of your subscription to our scheme. Other suffixes cost an extra small charge depending on which one.
What does it cost?
£50 for a starter website, £300 for a multi-page website and tailor made websites start at £400 but will need to be quoted on a case by case basis. All design options are supported by an annual £95 maintenance scheme.
For this price you get a domain name, a website designed to your specifications, web hosting for a year, maintenance for a year, search engine optimisation (getting found), newsletters and tips, and membership of www.bedbreakfastavailability.co.uk (which includes an advert on the appropriate town page of www.bedbreakfastavailability.co.uk and an availability check bar on your website).
What happens after one year?
For £95 per year you get your domain name, web hosting, search engine optimisation, maintenance, newsletters and tips, and membership of www.bedbreakfastavailability.co.uk.
Can I update my own site?
In our managed hosting and maintenance program we undertake to make speedy changes to your website so there is not normally the need for you to gain access however we can make arrangements for the D.I.Y. enthusiast.
How many pages can I have?
A multi-page website gives you up to 10 pages but you can have as many pages as you like. For a multi-page website extra pages will be charged at £25 per page or for a tailor made website each page will be charged at 10% of the quoted design fee.
How quickly will my new website bring me new business?
Your advertisement on www.bedbreakfastavailability.co.uk may produce instant or speedy results in terms of your first bookings however your website will take a bit of time to get listed by the search engines and to gain the necessary page rank (importance) to get found on the first couple of pages of search results.
